I just inherited a dynasty league team of sorts where felix can be kept at the cost of my first round pick (8th overall). Would it be crazy to keep him there?

honestly, I don't know what to expect from the first round, as most people haven't submitted their keepers yet (we keep 4 guys for 2 rounds ahead of where the guy was drafted/kept the year before), and I'm trying to figure out if he's one of the guys I should be considering.

I am assuming that the 2 rounds thing means that nobody drafted in the first 2 rounds of last year's draft can be kept? If so there's probably 8 guys in that bunch that I would take ahead of King Felix. If a lot of stars are being kept in later round because of the longevity of the league, then Felix could be a good value at 8. Too much depends on what the rest of the scenario looks like.

Correct. I guess the thing to do would be to be one of the last people to file my keepers and see what the rest of the field does first (they're do in 4 days, I think(.

Can't you just look and make some basic assumptions? It should be fairly easy to guess who will be kept...that's just part of thorough research.
