Youth or Veterans? Stats or Value?

Postby Xtreemes » Tue Feb 23, 2010 12:13 am

I need to decide my 9 keepers. 12 team league, positions are C, first, second, third, SS, 3 OF, Util, 5SP, 2RP, 1P. regular 5x5 except OBP instead of average. Here's who im locked into keeping

Wright, Texieria and Santana as 1st round picks.
Hamels as a 3rd round pick.
Broxton as a 14th rounder and Lind as a 22nd rounder.

Here are my other options. Aramis as a 1st rounder. Beckham and Bret Anderson as 22nd rounders. Hawpe in the 11th, Abreu in the 4th, Chris Davis in the 20th, Jered Weaver in the 13th, Figgins in the 8th.

I'm driving myself crazy trying to decide the last 2 to keep. You know what you're getting with Aramis, but there's some great value to be had with Beckham (who will soon be 2B eligible) and Bret Anderson. I could use any advice and it would be much appreciated.

This could be turned into a more general topic without discussing your particular keepers.

Any more opinions? I'm pretty sure i'm keeping Anderson but i'm torn with the last keeper. I know what I'm getting with Aramis but Beckham provides so much value as a 22nd round pick.
