I don't think drafting one of the bench spots to house a minor leaguer is such a bad thing. I'd take Heyward in the final round of a draft. Overall, good list.

Heyward is not a bad person to have. He could get playing time very early this year and be the Rookie of the Year. Don't draft him early, but he is worth a bench spot at this point.

Oh and Joba could still be a starter this year. It is not yet decided that Hughes will have the 5th starter position this year.

I agree with the above poster on Heyward. Joba may be a stud even in middle relief.
Shoppach may start (or at least be the predominant member of a platoon); same thing with Brett Gardner; as for Maicer Izturis, be careful of saying no as he is not starting.
I see games played looking a little like the following for the Angels infield (not counting Morales):
Izturis - 130
Wood -120
Kendrick -125
Aybar -125
Some of those games may be at DH as well, especially for Wood, and they may take a handful of games from Morales.
