My friend and I have shared a fantasy team for a few years and the time has come to split it up. Our league rules say that when splitting our team we can each keep 4 players. We have decided to split our team using a draft style (1,23,45,67,8)

Here are our best players and their auction values:

Ryan Howard - $26
Chase Utley - $29
Kevin Youkilis - $17 (our league uses OPS so his walks help)
Ryan Braun $23
Gordon Beckham $8
Zack Greinke $11
Cole Hamels - $17
Felix Hernandez $30
Carlos Gonzalez $10
Kyle Blanks - $10
Miguel Montero - $6
Stephen Drew - $11
BJ Upton $16

FYI: Do to inflation a player like Utley or Braun would usually run for about $50-$55 in our league. An elite pitcher goes for $40ish. IF's are also very expensive as they tend to be kept. You can keep players as long as you want but their salary goes up $5 a year.

Who are our top 8 (or ten if you are feeling generous)? What combination of players should I try and get (remember I will get 4)?

2. Howard
3. Utley
4. Greinke
5. Youkilis
6. BJ Upton
7. Felix
8. GBeckham

I love Felix, but $30 is a bit steep, which drops him down. I also like Utley over Howard, but there small price difference changes their order for me. Greinke may be the best value of the bunch, although Braun is right up there as well. Hope this helps.
