+1. They don't gain too much value IMO and most others seem to want to increase their value so typically I end up waiting even longer than normal.

I hate 2 Catcher leagues, so my first step is to not play in them. If I'm somehow roped into the 2C mess, I almost never go after a top round catcher and nab at least one from the 3rd tier and a sleeper pick.

I'm with you two. If you nab Iannetta and Doumit late, the law of averages say 1 of them should bounce back for you. Even if they dont, catchers seem to be the most volatile position anyways. No need to spend in a high pick on one if you will likely get burned.
