2010 MLB Over/Under Wins

I need some advice. As I said, I'm not a sports gambler but my buddy is and he needs recommendations. I gave him Seattle, Colorado overs as my top 2.

The problem is, he's not getting very good odds on those bets. One number he told me about that has me interested is Detroit over 80.5. He'd be getting even money on it so it would be a good bet from that perspective.

Does Detroit going .500 sound like a good bet this year? I know they lost Granderson and Edwin Jackson, but they gained Scherzer and Damon. I told him I'd get back to him soon, and I just thought I'd get some other opinions on it before giving him my final recommendation.
