He threw almost 90% fastballs last year and has just begun to tap his potential. Real underrated this year.

24 round draft, I don't have picks after 21
My options are:
Josh Hamilton rd 18
Ervin Santana rd 19 :-t
Gordon Beckham rd 21
Rick Porcello rd 15 :-t
Elvis Andrus rd 16
Shin Soo Choo rd 11

Thanks!

+1. I was tempted to include Santana, but I'd like to hear about his velocity in ST. If you can get some info on him before announcing keepers I'd consider keeping him over Andrus.

I want to keep Santana but I'm hesitant our keepers are gonna be due in about a week. I'd like to see him pitch before I submit keepers. I'm definitely keeping Hamilton and Beckham but could go with any of the others, probably not Choo though.

So this year, we think he's going to bring out this new, devastating swing and miss pitch or something?

Why would keep a 1 year wonder in Ervin over Choo?

Andrus is overrated. He has a weak stick, sb his only value.

He's just as talented as David Price or Brett Anderson or Tommy Hanson. Leyland and Knapp were bent on making sure his secondary pitches were fully developed before he started throwing them in game situations. Anyways, he had a curve that was looking pretty solid by the end of the season and it should be thrown more this year. So in short to answer your dumb question, yes his strikeout numbers will most likely go up this season.

Ervin as a one year wonder? His 2008 stats were not flukey at all, he was legitimately incredible and could get back there if he stays on the field.
