KEEPER QUESTION - TEIXEIRA vs VMART+HOLLIDAY?? WHIR

Hi in my 16 team Mixed keeper league - I can keep up to 6 players or $75 in auction value.

These are the players I am considering - please help me decide the best combination:

My first instinct is to keep:
2B CHASE UTLEY $28
OF MATT HOLLIDAY $29
C VICTOR MARTINEZ $18
and that is $75 total.

That gives me a top ten outfielder and a top 2 2B and top 2 Catcher, both of which are somewhat scarce positions, especially when we draft down to 16 teams - and include middle infielders and such

My other option would be this combination - (drop VMART and HOLLIDAY)
Keep 2B CHASE UTLEY $28
1B MARK TEIXEIRA $31
with $16 leftover to decide between:
some combination of Juan Rivera $5, Randy Wells $5, Jonathon Sanchez $5, Kevin Millwood $2, Jason Marquis $1

as you can see in the second combo, I can keep more players, but truly what's the purpose of keeping 5-6 players when 2-3 of them are average at best? I think the combo of Holliday and VMART trumps TEIXEIRA alone.

1st is deep, take the cheap Holliday.

I think you got it right in your explanation. Holliday and Vmart trumps Tex and any combo of those other players you mentioned who are all dime a dozen players.

i agree i'd go with the three you mentioned first. those other guys can be replaced much easier than replacing martinez behind the plate.
