Hey Bob,
There are a few reasons why, I believe, Aroldis was ranked just outside the Top 20 in our compilation:
1.Rawness
2.Past record of Cuban pitchers who didn't pan out as expected
and lastly
3. Secondary stuff that still needs some work

I think people see the 100mph gas from a LHP and expect great things based off the shiny new toy syndrome. However, these reasons are all valid, and since the rankings came out before any of the ST data we saw, it was justified to the point that someone could've asked why he was ranked so highly at that point, due to the lack of professional experience.

Yeah, these lists were compiled in Jan & Feb. If we redid today, Chapman &Turner probably move up the most while Baumgarner & Westmoreland move down the most. But how much is really going to change if we compiled monthly lists? And some people couldn't piggy back the experts rankings.
