NL-Only Reynolds for Votto?

10 team, 5x5 roto, 7-10 keepers each year, $260 cap. 2 C/1B/2B/3B/SS/MI/CI/5 OF/UTIL/9 P/NO BENCH

Would like to sell high on Reynolds considering his peripheral numbers don't support him repeating last year. Thoughts on:

Reynolds for $18 ($18 for 2010 and 2011, with the possibility of extending him next year at $5/year)
Votto for $10 ($10 this year only, $15 for this year and next, or $20 for 2010, 2011, and 2012)

If Reynolds DOES repeat last year, then he is clearly better then Votto PLUS he has 1B/3B eligibility (which is nice since our league has no bench). But if he ends up producing more like 07 & 08 versus last year, then Votto is the better player...thoughts?

And this is why selling high on Reynolds will be difficult. Dave is far from the only person with this opinion. Myself, I think what you see is what you get from Reynolds, but it's his ceiling he won't get any better. On the other hand I expect Votto has not yet reached his power potential and hits .320. In a draft I would take Votto over Reynolds even if it meant having to fall back on Mike Young or Jorge Cantu at third, which really isn't even all that bad. Votto for me.

I'd take Votto over Reynolds in most circumstances for the bargain this season and I like him long-term over Reynolds as well.
