I would probably do it but I seem to value pitching more than most. I do not think you have a very good pitching staff (a lot of question marks) so this trade would greatly improve that.

The post above left me stunned... than I saw CC in there (I missed him the first time). I still say no. You don't trade a top 3 pick IMO.

No, if you're trading Hanley then you must get back someone like Pujols or Braun.

cbs standard scoring seems to favor pitching, 3pts an inning pitched 7pts a win. I think my hitting will do fine even without Hanley. Been doing Fantasy baseball for 4 years now and not once did the guy w/Hanley win championship.

i wouldn't do this. you could use some pitching to insure against zambrano and webb but you're buying high on greinke and bartlett. sure they'll be good, but i don't think you should pay for last year's stats as their odds of reaching them/surpassing them aren't that great. you're also selling low on price, who should improve this year.
i say stay put for now and let your hitting do the talking. be vigilant on the waiver wire but hang on to hanley. trading him for superior pitching is like buying fools gold IMHO

OIC, I guess you should just drop him outright then??? It's not an even trade as everyone else in this thread has posted.
