This is an offshoot from my 6x6 keeper thread. It seems that out of my 5 keepers there is general agreement except for Rasmus and Coghlan. I personally favor Coghlan. So weigh in here on which you would keep and why.

I like your lean towards Coghlan as he appeared to have the MLB more figured out than Rasmus.

Coghlan treated me pretty well last year while Rasmus was on and off the waiver wire all year. Maybe Rasmus has a higher ceiling but I trust Coghlan to help more this year.

I like Coghlan, seems to have better peripherals/splits.

Wow there really is no consensus on this one. For what it's worth the majority of sources that rank players rank Coghlan higher than Rasmus. For many it's very close for others Rasmus is significantly lower than Coghlan. From what I watched from both these last year. I definitely saw a much more mature hitter who adjusted to pitchers in Coghlan. Rasmus may have the higher upside, but for next year I still think Coghlan is more likely to help a team and give more consistent numbers.

Coghlan also had a 2nd half 40% hit rate %, way over his past history. His average will regress to around .290.

Rasmus has more talent/tools. Think how J Upton performed his first couple years in the bigs and how he is currently ranked. Rasmus should blossom into a much better player than Coglan.
