Testing, check one two, test

Postby 05worldserieschamps » Mon Feb 15, 2010 11:58 pm

Does anybody check this forum?

If they do, rate our pitchers in order, 1-4.

My order:

1) Jake the Snake
2) Johnny Danks
3) Mark Buehrle
4) Gavin Floyd

Thoughts?
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.

^I agree.

Still don't know why Buehrle is starting on opening day, he never seems to have success his first start, I understand it would be a milestone but big deal.

I think he's starting because he's the leader of the team. Let's be honest, who starts Opening Day matters very little. Buehrle and Konerko are the face of the White Sox now, and I like seeing him out there on day one. More of a sentimental thing. (but he's not to shabby either)

Right, I just feel you should throw your best pitcher out there the first game of the year. Who would you rather have face aces like Sabathia, Felix, Greinke etc, Buehrle or Peavy? Easy answer imo and why Peavy should start game one. Don't get me wrong I love seeing him out there the first game of the year, bit of a tradition but even Buehrle admits that Peavy deserves the start.
