Quentin for Borbon

Postby demo13 » Mon Feb 15, 2010 9:47 pm

Keeper league, $260 salary cap. I was offered Quentin $12 for Borbon $6. Who is the better keeper at that price. My current keepers are listed below (but that has no baring to me as I will just make up for any shortcomings in the auction)

My keepers:
Sandoval $11
Alexei Ramirez $11
Justin Upton $16
Adam Jones $16
Jay Bruce $14
Borbon $6
Lester $16
Kershaw $16

Definitely Quentin. Quentin's upside is a first round pick if he stays healthy. How high can Borbon go as a speedy OF with zero pop?

With Quentin's well known penchant for getting plunked and his track record of injuries, you might lose this. But it's a yes every time even in a CF league.

It'll be far easier to find legs elsewhere.

You stealing my lines again Tuttle?? lol

He's right though. Legs are legs, Andrew McCutchen, Julio Burbon, Jaun Pierre, I'll even throw Ellsbury in there... it's all the same to me.
