Man this is tough. I like Heyward and Upton a lot BUT Kemp is the best player in the deal. If I was on either side of the deal, I would have a hard time pulling the trigger. I think I would prefer the Kemp deal only because he is the best player. As much as I like Upton, he has burned me and many owners in the past and he could do that again and Heyward is far from a sure thing. I would hate to be the guy that traded Braun for BJ Upton and Alex Gordon a few years ago.

if you have Kemp --- hold on to him. The deal looks good but Kemp is a high first rounder and a top 2 OF. If kemp was a 29 I could see a better case for it.. but he is only 25!!!

Heyward and BJ Upton. The difference between Heyward/Hellickson is much bigger than Kemp/Upton.

Side B. Kemp is already great. A could turn out better, but why trade the sure thing for a maybe sure thing?

I know Heyward is a can't miss, but so were Delmon Young and Mark Prior.

Kemp side. Heyward can still only dream of being like Kemp. Hellickson is no slouch of a prospect either.

Unlike Delmon, Heyward has some idea of the strike zone.
