Had a terrible year last year in my money league.
Roto 6x6 (AVG-OBP-HR-RBI-R-SB --- IP-ERA-WHIP-W-K-S) / 11 teams / $260 cap / auction
Lineups - C - 1B - 2B - SS - 3B - 2UT - 4OF - 5S P- 3RP
I need to keep 6 - This is what I have (not showing the whole team):
C - McCann = $20
C - Wieters = $5
2B - Hill = $5
3B - Wright = $39
OF - Cruz = $5
OF - Markakis = $13
SP - Santana = $27
SP - Bucholtz = $5
SP - Bailey = $5
SP - Oswalt = $19
RP - Broxton = $5
I have been offered Cliff Lee at $5 straight up for my $5 Aaron Hill.
I'd like to go into the auction with two SP if possible.

I'd do the Cliff Lee trade and keep him, as well.

Thanks... but we only start one catcher. THose of you saying to keep both McCann and Wieters... are you saying to use one in my UT spot?

I'd keep Weiters over McCann. $20 is alot for a catcher who is not going to produce on the same level as a $20 OF'er. I'd rather take a small step back with Weiters and pay 1/4 the money.
Hill is a No -brainer at $5.
Cruz is a good keep at $5.
Markakis is priced just right at $13. He's probably right aroun $20 in your format.
Then I'd keep Bailey and Broxton.
So, in recap:
Weiters $5
Hill $5
Cruz $5
Markakis $13
Bailey $5
Broxton $5
Leaves you $222 for your draft. You won't need a starting catcher, a second baseman and have 2 Of'ers already. You won't need to over pay for a closer and you have two of the top 5 there.
You net 113 HR, 372 RBI, 40 SB's, 70 Saves, and 160 K's by my projections.

You could drop McCann, keep Bailey, or use one of the catchers as trade bait. Either way is good value.

Good catch, I was reading it as Andrew Bailey. Drop Bailey keep and then trade McCann.
