Usually I go for the hitter, but in this case I would have to say Bamgarner. Stewart's average will kill you, and Bamgarner will go through his growing pains, but could put up at least Hanson type numbers this year.

I would be tempted to take it, I bet Bumgarner is still at least a year away...

I would keep Bumgarner over Stewart. For 2010 alone, Stewart will have better production, but by 2011, you'd be kicking yourself if you make the trade. Bumgarner will be a good 2nd or 3rd fantasy starter by this point, and Stewart will still be an average, or slightly below average 3B.

I would keep Bumgarner so long as it looks like he has a rotation spot- Stewart is a good fantasy option, but he is one of the most over-rated fantasy players I can think of- he's a career .238 hitter with no plate discipline on a team with tons of offensive options- Stewart's not the second-coming of Chase Utley, but Bumgarner could be the next Lincecum

With 15 keepers, I'm probably keeping Bumgarner myself. Keep an eye on his velocity in the spring, but I think you take the guy with the higher ceiling here (which I still believe to be Bumgarner).

Not sure how big your league is, but it looks like you have a pretty stacked team that can win this year. At face value, I think Bumgarner is the better option longterm (by quite a bit), but you have to focus more on this year.

What I would really do, though, is try and deal one of your extra 1b's for a 3b. I'd explore that option first, then look into Bum for Stew.

depends if you are going for broke this year. If so then trade Bumgarner, he will have rough spots as a rookie. He has a huge upside but probably wont be consistent for a couple years. I'm not sure if you have a bench spot to stash him (in my league we have no bench spots so everyone has to play). You've got a nice rotation without Bumgarner. If you want to win it all this year I'd do the deal.
