i can keep 5 so i can actually trade 3 keepers for 1.......would u give up any combo of these 3(pedroia,zimmerman,morneau,bj upton) for hanram? or is it just too much and i should look elsewhere.
Unless the Hanley owner has next to no other valid keepers, I don't see you landing him throwing together a 3-for-1 when you take your top players out of the running.
Could you post his roster?
"All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated and well supported in logic and argument than others." — Douglas Adams (1952-2001)
If you could trade BJ Upton, Morneau, and Pedroia for HanRam that would be huge. You're keepers would be J Upton, Zimmerman, Longoria, Mauer, and HanRam
You would own the top SS, top C, 2 of the top 5 3rd basemen, and perhaps the best up and coming OF. There will likely be plenty of 1st base talent to compensate for trading Morneau, and Pedroia's good, but if it were b/t him and Zimmerman I'd keep Zimmerman all day long. And that's coming from a Sox fan!
I agree with the above post, Trade your expendable kepers (BJ Upton, Morneau, and Pedroia) for one of the tops keepers. They are just going to be thrown into the pool anyway. How are you giving up too much, if your going to dump them any way? Yes you make a week team stronger, but you also make a strong team (yours) stronger.
