Question about two players

First is Sean Rodriguez... who isn't technically a minor leaguer anymore but hasn't gotten a lot of time in the majors. A buddy claims the guy has 30 homer potential and could be huge... forcing Zobrist into the OF.

Second is Ryan Wheeler... 1B, Diamondbacks. Can he surprass Allen even though it appears he has less power? What are reasonable expectations? I love the BB/SO ratio and high average... just wondering if anyone thinks it'll continue as he progresses up the system.

Rodriguez's HR numbers were inflated last year playing his second season in very friendly Salt Lake City. If somebody pushes Zobrist to the PF this season I think it will be Brignac.

I think Wheeler has more power than Allen and nobody's questioning his bat, but he's still a long way away. I don't think Allen is much of a road block if Wheeler continues to hit like he did last fall and in college.

Like the other poster said, Rodriguez has 20hr pop but his numbers were greatly inflated. Alot will depend on the ST battle for util inf between him and Brignac. Then during the season a lot will depend on Joyce and how Jennings fairs in the minors. Really it's just too messy right now unless your in a deep league to take a chance on him.

Ryan Wheeler seems decent so far, however he showed fairly little power in a weak division in college. His SS numbers really aren't too much to get excited about, as he has a ways to go yet.
