I'm in a 12 team H2H keeper league and I have to choose 4 out of Adrian Gonzalez, Ian Kinsler, Troy Tulowitzki, Justin Upton, and Tim Lincecum. At first glance Lincecum is a no brainer keeper but we use K/BB instead of K's or K/9 so his value there is hurt a little bit. Also I am considering Troy and Kinsler over him because of their position scarcity and Upton's potential seems like too much to pass up. Should I consider dropping Lincecum or should I let go of one of the hitters instead? Thanks and WHIR

I'd dump Gonzalez. 1B production will be easier to recover than shortstop. At shortstop, there's 4 guys (Hanley, Reyes, Tulo, Rollins) and then it's a mess. It's hard to even trust Jeter who can as easily play like 2008 and he's getting older now. The 1Bs are slightly overrated, I think.

And at 2nd, there's an elite 5 of Utley, Kinsler, Phillips, Roberts, and Pedroia and then a pretty big drop-off.

I tend to agree with dropping Gonzalez.
Firstbase is really deep this year.
Help please

Yeah, between Butler and Morales, plus someone like Berkman whom everyone is writing off too early, the productive 1B will most likely be available.

I'll agree with the consensus, AGon is the drop here.

I had Gonzo as well. Initially he was a no brainer keeper for me, but as has been mentioned already 1st base is a deep posiiton. I e nded up trading him for picks. He'd be the guy I would drop.
