What do you guys think of these keepers?

Postby BigW27 » Sat Feb 13, 2010 9:34 pm

13 Teams in a Roto league

Stats include:

Batting Stats
Runs (R), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Strikeouts (K), Batting Average (AVG), On-base Percentage (OBP), Net Stolen Bases (NSB)

Pitching Stats
Wins (W), Strikeouts (K), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP), Quality Starts (QS), Net Saves (NSV)

Players in bold are the ones am thinking of holding onto, I need to select 5 keepers. For certain am keeping Utley, just need to decide on the other 4. What do you guys think?

My team last year:

Lance Berkman (Hou - 1B)
Alberto Callaspo (KC - 2B,3B,SS)
Jorge Cantú (Fla - 1B,3B)
Curtis Granderson (NYY - OF)
Carlos Guillén (Det - 1B,3B,OF)
Brad Hawpe (Col - OF)
Brandon Inge (Det - C,3B,OF)
Ryan Ludwick (StL - OF)
Nyjer Morgan (Was - OF)
David Ortiz (Bos - 1B)
Aaron Rowand (SF - OF)
Álex Ríos (CWS - OF)
Chase Utley (Phi - 2B) Definitely keeping
Michael Young (Tex - 3B,SS)

Todd Coffey (Mil - P)
Aaron Cook (Col - P)
Jason Frasor (Tor - P)
Zack Greinke (KC - P)

I've got Rios ahead of Morgan by a little bit.

Lance Berkman (Hou - 1B)
Curtis Granderson (NYY - OF)
Chase Utley (Phi - 2B)
Zack Greinke (KC - P)
Dan Haren (Ari - P)

Tough to cut Hanson, but with Greinke and Haren spearheading your staff, you might want to go into the draft with another bat.

Negative...Unless he has a turn around season this year, it looks like he'll never reach his potential. Besides I could probably snatch him up in the later rounds.

Sorry, didn't see it's only 5 keepers. Then I agree with AD's picks.
