Silly newb question.

Silly newb question.

Postby sinistas » Sat Feb 13, 2010 7:29 pm

Hey everybody, new here.

I've never done an auction draft before, so my question is this: is there a place to WATCH a live auction draft? I'd like to see how it works before jumping in. I know there are mock draft sites, but I've only done standard drafts. Thanks in advance!

ESPN started auction drafts this year. And they normally have a draft room where you can watch drafts live so they might have a way for you to watch auction drafts. But more than likely it will be another couple weeks before they get going. I am sure there are also mock auction drafts that you can participate in to get a better feeling of how they work.

Watching one or two is a great idea, and then jump in and do as many mocks as you can before it is time for your actual draft. It will give you a great deal of confidence going into the real thing.

Thanks for the replies. Since it seems like there's no way to just watch a draft rather than joining mocks, I'll stick to the snake style for now. ;-D

Good looks. I was thinking something similar to the OP.
