Help a Newbie out! First time FBB player would like advice.

I'm a Fantasy Football veteran, but this year is my first ever Fantasy Baseball season and team. So, how did I do on my draft? Where should I upgrade if possible? We play in a 14 team league that plays head-to-head format. It's a Yahoo league with the standard rules they have (whatever they are?)

Comments? Any suggestions on bench players that I need for depth? Should I pick up another SS because of A-rod playing 3rd this year?

I really like your team. For my bench, I usually like a backup infielder, but my league has daily changes, not the H2H format. Rodriguez and Blalock will play virtually every day anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it.

As long as your league allows A-Rod to be played in the SS position (as I think Yahoo will), you don't need to get another SS. There's probably not another SS on the waiver wire that will be better than playing Blalock at 3B.

I think my depth is ok at OF, so would you drop someone like Marlon Byrd if Alex Gonzalez (SS FLA) is available to help my infield depth?

I would play teixiera over floyd in your utility. teixeria can only improve and i dont find floyd amazing impressive. Solid team though.
