I had a pretty solid team last season but now I have the tough task of picking my keepers. I'm stuck on a couple of the picks so if ya'll could weigh in with your thoughts, that would be great.
This is for a 12-team H2H league with the following scoring:
R, HR, RBI, SB, Avg, Ops
W, Sv, K, ERA, WHIP, K/9
Here is my roster from last season:
C -- Napoli
1B -- Pujols
2B -- Hill
SS -- Tulowitzki
3B -- Beckham
OF -- Sizemore
OF -- Braun
OF -- Elsbury
UT -- Cruz
UT -- J. Upton
BN -- Alexei Ramirez
SP -- Lincecum
SP -- Verlander
RP -- Bailey
RP -- Marmol
P -- Gallardo
P -- Josh Johnson
P -- Danks
BN -- Jimenez
BN -- P. Martinez
We get to keep 6 players, 2 of which have to be pitchers. My initial (and obvious) choices for keepers were Pujols, Braun, Lincecum, & Verlander. I was struggling w/ the last 2 players as I wasn't sure whether to keep Tulowitzki, Sizemore (my keeper from the prior season), Elsbury or maybe even Beckham for offense. As for the last spot, I wanted to go with a pitcher so to keep things balanced and I was thinking of going w/ Josh Johnson though I did consider Gallardo as well. What would you do if you were in my shoes??
