Matt Anderson out of detroit...
i know rodney is where they are steering and abou tandersons injury comeback but for a deep league is he worth the grab...
if healthy he could be a nice cheap source for saves...
any thoughts on him...?

I would keep my eye on him if Rodney struggles, but I don't see Anderson as much of an option.

Anderson allowed nine earned runs in 4 2/3 innings during his four outings, so there's not much chance of him getting his ERA down to a respectable level this spring. He's just fighting for a bullpen spot at this point.
It is ST, but that's not going to win you the closer's role to start the season. I wouldn't touch Detroit's bullpen even in a deep league. Pick up someone like Valverde.

Unless Anderson gets things together, you'd be more likely to see Danny Patterson or even Franklyn German get save opportunities than Anderson.
