I cant get excited about Carpenter's injury risk.

that makes sense...i guess you agree that vlad is on the downturn....kazmir could be dangerously good...but i hear ya about shield....bay was a ?mark but i think he will do well with the Mets....as long as his surrounding cast stays healthy this yr

I have to agree with the original poster. I would keep Carp over Shields. If he stays healthy, his value is far greater than Shields. I think its worth the risk because Carp's shoulder and elbow are healthy and stayed healthy all year last year! The five hitters are pretty much a no-brainer.
