6x6 roto league (OBP and QS are the other stats) with 9 teams
4 keepers
C/1B/2B/SS/3B/OF/OF/OF/OF/OF/U/9 pitchers
I give up: Howard, Lincecum
I get: A-Rod, Haren and Rollins
The keepers I was going to pick were Reynolds, Holliday, Lincecum and Howard
If I were to get Werth instead of Rollins, would that change anything? Thanks!

Could you explain why you don't think that I should do the trade?
Thanks

You would be getting much older keepers.
Arod is 34 to Howards 30.
Lincecum is 26 to Harens 29
Rollins and Werth are 31.
Might not mean much now, but i think it means a lot in 2 or 3 years.

Stand put. Howard and Lincecum are younger and have more years.

Thanks for replying on my post...
I'm going to agree with the masses here and say to stand pat. Besides the youth, my reason is that Haren usually has shaky 2nd half of the season whereas Lincecum will give you consistent production.

I agree with the masses that you should not do this trade for obviously stated reasons. That being said, I am in the camp that believes Lincecum cannot continue to hold up to the physical grind he puts in his small frame. He has posted big innings for 2+ years and is a strikeout pitcher. He has proven to be the most dominant pitcher in MLB for 2 years, pitches in the NL, just got a two year contract and is the top rated pitcher on draft boards for 2010. I would think you could get a kings ransom for him this year if you are willing to take the chance of him having another good year or two on another fantasy team.
