I was planning on keeping Asdrubal Cabrera in the 22nd round but someone sent me an offer of Alcides Escobar (also 22nd round eligible) for Logan Morrison (in my minor league roster). All the rankings I've seen this year put Asdrubal higher than Escobar for 2010 plus he has 2B eligibility, but how much more is Escobar worth long term. A lot of what I've read says that he's going to be a good defensive specialist and steal a lot but that's about it. Is it worth making the trade? The other guys I'm keeping are Ubaldo Jimenez (14), Colby Rasmus (18), Dexter Fowler (22), and Kyle Blanks (22) so I've already gotten a lot of relatively unproven guys on my roster. I have name my keepers later today.

That's tough, but I think Asdrubal has more bat and will be more of an asset overall, only trailing by a little bit in SB. So my pick is Cabrera.

Yeah that's my gut feeling. I just don't know that much about Alcides and wasn't sure if his bat is likely to pass Cabrera's at any point in the near future to make it worth making the switch.
