help w. last keeper WHIR

Third year of a 12-team 7x7 (OBP & SLG/HLD & K per 9). I traded my entire roster over in the offseason, including most of my pitchers. I focused on building a dominant offensive team, confident I can pick up pitching bargains in the draft (there are a lot of them this year I think).

We keep 15 and I have 14 dialed up, but I'm struggling with the last one. Here are my definites:

C -
C -
1B - Joey Votto
2B - Dustin Pedroia
3B - Evan Longoria
SS - Jimmy Rollins
CI - Kevin Youkilis
MI - Brian Roberts
OF - Justin Upton
OF - Adam Lind
OF - Nick Markakis
OF - Carlos Gonzalez
OF - Hunter Pence
U - Lance Berkman
U -

SP - Adam Wainwright
SP - Matt Garza
SP -
SP -
RP -
RP -
RP -
P -
P -
P -

My possibles for the 15th slot are: Ryan Ludwick (nice power potential, but I'm loaded at OF), Alex Gordon (it's a keeper, so he could have a lot of value, or not), John Danks (not a lot of confidence in him for some reason, particularly with K/9), or Chris Carter (OAK-1B; wild card keeper who will go very early in pre-season minor league draft where all minor league players are eligible).

I know I need pitching, but I'm not worried about that at all and Danks is probably not the guy I'd grab right away anyway. I'm tempted to go with Carter, if for no other reason than for his trade value. This league values young bats big time.

My gut tells me Ludwick though, and looking at his monthly splits from last year I'm still not sure 2008 was a fluke. Either way, I'm not completely sold and I'd like to hear some other opinions.

Leave a link and I'll get back to you.

Carter

I like Ludwick almost as much as Lind, though.

thanks for the replies. I'm a little surprised at the love for Carter.

Anyone else want to throw in their thoughts?

With 15, you can take chances. Carter has nice power. Ludwick is ok, if you want a 20-25 hr guy. He won't repeat 08 20% hr/fb ratio.
