Help with 5 keepers WHIR

Postby boredguy » Thu Feb 11, 2010 8:49 pm

H2H 12 team 6x6 (OBP and QS extra cats) C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, 3 OF, Util, 2 SP, 2RP 3P, 6 bench
Lose the round player was drafted. I'll have last pick in a serpentine.

Guys worth keeping

Ryan Braun 1st
Matt Holliday 2nd
Prince Fielder 3rd
Joey Votto 4th
Ryan Zimmerman 8th
Matt Wieters 11th
Justin Upton 14th
Chase Utley 17th

Upton and Utley are no brainers. I'm leaning towards Braun and Fielder as well.
Not sure what to do with last pick, Holliday will probably put up the best numbers but having an early pick would be nice. If i keep Fielder i won't be keeping Votto as well. Zimmerman is probably the best bet if his breakout last year was real. Wieters potential at the 11th round is tempting.

I would agree with:

Ryan Braun
Matt Holliday
Prince Fielder
Justin Upton
Chase Utley

It is pretty rough to keep your whole OF, but it's hard to say no to those names.

Zimmerman in the 8th is a lot better value, then Holliday in the 2nd.

Assuming you have the first pick of the second round? Take Zim over Holliday. Braun, Zim, Fielder, Upton, Utley.
