From rotoworld:
The Nationals and Elijah Dukes have agreed to a one-year, $444,000 million contract.
Dukes was eligible to have his contract renewed, but both parties agreed on a $32,500 raise. Dukes slipped from a productive '08 to a .729 OPS in 2009 over 416 at-bats, but will enter spring training as the starting right fielder. The 26-year-old has massive potential, so don't overlook him as a potential sleeper. He is eligible for arbitration for the first time following the upcoming season.
He can settle out of court with many battered spouses off of that salary.
