It's released as soon as the store opens. If a store is open at midnight, technically they can sell it. Most stores already have it in stock but legally they can't sell it till Tuesday.

I got mlb 2k10 and it's not bad, alot better than last years game anyways. I can't wait to get the Show as well.

What's different about the Show this season? I ended up selling my copy last year because I just could not pitch for the life of me.

Unfortunately I own only 360 so it's my only option. Are there lots of glitches? Is gameplay competitive? Is it possible to get hits in the gaps? Is the AI retarded? Those are just some of my bad memories from last year's game...

The game is not glitchy, definitely not as glitchy as last years game. If you only own a 360 and absolutely want a baseball game it's not a bad way to spend $60. My player mode is addicting and well done. Franchise mode is also a lot better with better with 40 man rosters, September call ups and spring training. The presentation is also really cool with the announcers talking about things happening around the league like standings, previous scores, stats etc...my only complaint so far is that outfielders have cannons for arms, the computer pitchers pound the strike zone like crazy and are left in the game well too long (Brad Penny went 9 innings against me with 150 pitches), and extra base hits are almost non existent. Also in franchise mode there's no free agents and everyone resigns for little money (Abreu resigned for 4 years $5 million in mine) It will be a great game with a few patches, though.
