Duda's wrist injury will definitely grant him another shot with the Mets, they're too thin in the outfield to let him go. I'm not expecting much from him but we'll be dumpster diving in free agency since Wright needs to get paid. I'd be fine with bringing Pagan back, he played well when he was here.

As a fan I'm very happy to see him stay and would've been livid had he left, but I'm pretty sure the Mets gave David Wright more money than they have in the bank.

At least our first baseman can actually hit home runs. 9 homers in like 600 at-bats? :-P

Again for the 2013 season, the two highest paid Met outfielders are Jason Bay and Bobby Bonilla...

• Johan Santana‘s start to spring training is delay because of weakness.

You gotta be kidding me NYM - even the Stro's didn't want him on their 40 man roster. :-P

I still think before it is the end of the road for Ankiel he ends up a lefty reliever. Or at least gives it a shot cause he really was amazing before he got the yips.

Trying to figure out if he'd be a bigger upgrade in the lineup or in the rotation... sad state of affairs.
