I'm really not sold on Hunter in 2010. Think you have enough depth on your pitching staff to afford letting Hamels go, but with your league being 10X10, feel he might be able to bring you a better player than Hunter.
A bad three minutes at the auction can cost you three months worth of research!

Just got another better offer in the same league so I thought I would just include it in this thread. So, I have decided not to trade Hamels for Hunter but have been offered this:

His Justin Morneau for my Jimmy Rollins. Now I love having Rollins at my SS position and he is ranked slightly higher in most rankings than Morneau. But I need OF and UTI help and I could move Everth Caberera into my MI spot and start Drew at SS. Should I keep Rollins or make the deal and get Morneau?

Thanks for your help....

Id stay with what you got too.... Although I really like Morneau, you have A Gonz already ... Good MI is hard to find and you already have great corners. Rollins will get his stuff together this year, dont know what was wrong with him last year, but I think he will rebound this year. Also, indeed keep hamels over Hunter, he wont help you much...

Hamels and Hunter should both rebound this year.

I could see Hamels getting close to regaining his old form (180+ K's and 3.3-3.5 ERA and solid WHIP). Hunter should be able to put up 25/15 numbers. It really comes down to what you think you need the most.

I think Rollins will be a stud this year so I would hold him as well. Morneau will give you more power though. Again, a case of need.
