I can keep up to 3 players and lose a draft pick 3 rounds prior to where they were drafted the year before. Free agents are given a draft value based on total weeks they are owned. It's a h2h points league (scoring system is in my sig). Here is who I've narrowed it down to:
Scott Baker in round 15 Nelson Cruz in round 13 Derrek Lee in round 17 Brett Anderson in round 12 Rick Porcello in round 14 Joba Chamberlin in round 12
I'm leaning towards the first three on that list. Thoughts?
I would rather have Porcello than Baker and the difference between the two rounds is negligible. I like Cruz at 13. Then I think it is between Lee and Anderson. I like Anderson but round 13 seems a little steep because I am not sure how much better he can be than a mid round pick. I would probably go with Lee as a 17th round pick is very cheap for a decent 1B. The thing though is don't expect Lee to match last years numbers.

Interesting. I'm not as high on Porcello as others. I think Baker is a top 30 pitcher. Of all those guys, he's probably the one I was most locked in to.
