Simple - Should I Keep Lars Anderson in my minors?

12 team league - keep 4 MLBers plus 4 minor leaguers

We maintain a 4-player minor league mini-farm system. The cool thing is that you don't have to automatically activate one of your minor leaguers when they reach qualifying numbers. In other words, as long as you've kept them in the minors you can watch their rookie seasons, then you have to activate the player but they don't count against your 4 keepers. I explained all this to show the value of our minor-league roster slots.

I have cleared my farm system this season by calling up Colby Rasmus and Travis Snider. I activated Brett Anderson during the season last year (wish I was still sitting on him in my minors, oh well he served me well last year)

That leaves Lars Anderson as my only prospect. Should I throw him back and start all over or is he worth keeping since I have 4 total spots? Thanks

I don't think he is worth hanging on to right now. 4 spots with 12 teams means only the top 50 or so prospects should be kept and I don't think Lars is in that group right now. He has the potential of someday being there but I am not sold in him that much. I would start fresh and if with the 4th pick no one else looks better than take Lars with your last pick. Last thing you would want to happen is to keep Lars and then see a top prospect just sitting there that you could have had if you had an open spot.
