Not really. SS is very deep this year. Wouldn't surprise me if the 15th-20th players on the list earn as much as the 7-10 guys.

From a Dynasty standpoint. All things being equal, Alexi over Drew?

I think Asdrubal Cabrera is ranked a bit low (#17). After going 81 Run, 161 Hit, 6 Hr, 68 RBI, 17 SB, .308 Ave, I think he has potential to go 90+ Run, 8-10 HR, 75 RBI, 18 SB, .305 type numbers. I rank him right around #13 or 14

I think in some ways you have to expect regression out of Cabrera because of the huge BABIP pointing to a big drop in AVG. However he also hit 42 doubles in just 131 games which usually suggests future growth in HR and he is starting the year as a full time player which suggests growth just via more playtime as well.

I'd say so -- upside to the power & speed.

The 4 projections at fangraphs have him between .292-.297. So that's not a huge drop combined with solid SB stats and some power potential there is enough to like in the mid-rds. Also the dual eligibility helps. I would rather have him than Andrus or Alexei.

What should I expect from Ian Desmond this year?
