Need some help deciding which two pitchers I should keep.
Matt Cain John Lester Roy Oswalt Cole Hamels Brandon Webb
It's a H2H weekly points league.
My gut tells me to go with Lester and Cain but I keep thinking last year was a fluke for Hamels and think he might get back to his 2008 status, same with Oswalt and Webb.
Lester and Cain. No doubt about it. I would say Hamels was a fluke too, but Lester and Cain will go sooner than Hamels so it would be easier to get him back.
On mockdraftcentral.com Lester is going at 61, Cain 84, Hamels 101.
I'll second what the poster before me said. I like Hamels a little better than Cain, but you have a better shot at getting Hamels back in the re-draft portion. If you don't care to use an early pick on pitching, just keep Hamels.
I'm in agreement with Lester and Cain on this one.
I would try to grab Webb later in the draft, and maybe even snagging Hamels again as well if you can. Oswalt continues to age and isn't as reliable (especially on a crappy team) so I'd stick with Lester and Cain and try to add Webb/Hamels later in the draft.
Lester no doubt, and Cain. I think Hamels rebounds while Cain could regress, but because of what they did last year Hamels should be easier to acquire in the redraft. If you're not up for the gamble you could stick with Hamels.
Hal·la·day, n. 1. every fifth day in Philadelphia. 2. a day of rest for the bullpen. 3. innings eater. 4. doc. 5. ace.

I just think both get back to 2008 and previous status. I think both Lester and Cain regress this year but that is just me, I've never been a big fan of Lester and was glad he didn't get dealt to Toronto in possible deal for Halladay
