Can you guys help

A few weeks ago i came on here and posted that i had started up a new advice blog for fantasy baseball. i was promptly banned for a few days for doing so. Now i know that i posted in like 4 different forums, as i felt those were the forums that covered the topics i'll cover. What exactly did i do wrong? i have seen by looking at the history in this forum that other people have posted their own links to their sites. Was it just the fact that i posted on 4 different forums?

I want to know what i did wrong before i do it again, i had attempted to email a mod but never got a response. thanks for any help on this topic as it will be greatly appreciated

It seemed like the purpose of your previous post was solely to advertise for another site. My understanding is that is not cool. If you reference the website in a discussion about a topic (ie. "Well this website has Trout over Matusz"), then I think it would be okay.

I'm not a mod, so this is just a guess.
