Trade Felix for Crawford?(WHIR)

10 team, 10x10 roto style, 28 man rosters, 5 players kept per year

I have been offered Carl Crawford for my King Felix. I think I have a pretty good team but am weak in the outfield and strong in pitching. Can I afford to lose one of the best young arms in baseball for a stud 5 tool OF? What do you think?

I actually think you can afford to lose him but I would try to aim a little higher than Crawford. See if you can snag Braun or Kemp. I would hate to trade Felix for anything but the top 2 OF's.

I would also try to trade for Braun see what he has maybe you can make a 2 for 1 deal with the guys whom has Braun....with this team if I was you I would defianltly try to make some 2 for 1's even 3 for 1's see what the guy whom has Pujols needs

You could use OF/UTIL help and while Crawford is fair value for Felix, see if you can land either Braun or Kemp first.

You could do worse with your OF. If Hamilton's on, you're okay. Another option is to ask for Crawford and someone for Felix.

I dont think ANY owner is dealing Braun or Kemp for King Felix. Now a 2 for 1 to get Braun or Kemp maybe... which in your case might be your only shot at getting something better than crawford. I like crawford but you're paying for a career year and maybe trading away this years cy young winner....

as of now i say NO unless you can somehow do a 2 for 1 and pull braun or kemp...

i think its something to consider but personally i dont think i would do it. i think your pretty solid all around. you have plenty of guys on your team that will steal bases already. add in the fact you never know how many innings youll really get out of harden and no one really knows how oswalt will perfrom this season so id say stick with our stud sp. is possible you may have 5 top 10-15 caliber pitchers, but if harden gets hurt nd oswalt doesnt bounc back, youll be glad you have felix still.

I'm not as high on Crawford as most are. I don't think you'll get Braun or Kemp for Felix, but I think I'd hang onto Felix rather than dealing him for Crawford. Crawford didn't steal anywhere near as many bases in the second half of last year and that makes me a bit skeptical. I think I'd try for Kemp and if you can't get him, I'd stick with Felix.

What are the hitting categories? Stolen bases are really devalued with that many categories. My guess is that Felix would be much more valuable to your team with your league settings. I'd rather have Felix with those scoring settings by far over Crawford.
