auction keeper B Anderson $4 or King Feliz $21 WHIR

15 team standard $260 auction with 14 batters and 9 pitchers. I have a decision to make between Brett Anderson SP Oak for $4 or Felix Hernandez for $21. I see value in both, but but spending $21 in Felix will only generate $30 in value at the most where Anderson may generate $20 in value at the most. So who is better to keep?

My league has a $270 limit and my budget for Felix is capped at $31.

My budget for Anderson is at $10.

As you know, these may go up and down slightly because of the cost index fluctuations throughout the draft.

But as I see it, Felix at $21 is a very good bargain for the salary cap you have. Anderson may break out, but the key word is "may"

Go with the King. Not a terrible cost for better production. Maybe you can get Anderson back at a similar or lesser cost...

I'd probably keep Anderson (is he at $5 as the title indicates or $4 as the post indicates?) and the extra cash. Pitchers are volatile, and as much as I love King Felix and his skill set, age, etc. putting your eggs in two baskets (Anderson and a $16-17 pitcher) seems like a safer course of action IMO. That said, you'd mentioned being able to keep both. Who are your keepers, how many can be kept, etc? I would like to see if there is someway I'd be able to keep both if I were in your shoes as I love Brett Anderson and there is obviously so much to like about King Felix (and $21 is a nice value IMO).
