I have played fantasy baseball,football,and basket ball for the past 6 years and i want to start an 8-10 team roto baseball auction league. i have absolutely no idea how to start this process or run it. if anyone can give me tips or personal guidelines i would greatly appreciate it.thanks.

PIck a salary cap, and go from there. It's not that hard. Use the search bar and look up auction rules.

i think all of the major host sites offer the auction option. i know at least espn and cbs do.
its pretty easy....it will just ask you to set rosters and input the salary cap and it does the rest
if it is an option...make sure you set min player cost at $1. i dont like guys spending all of their money on a few players then filling the roster w free guys once everyone is done. each roster spot should cost at least $1
now strategy....i like to not spend a bunch early, and load up on values in the mid rounds when everyone realizes they spenttoo much early and lay back. after the big guys go some people will want to wait for a while as their stash is low...so you can get good values in the middle of the draft
