Mauer or J. Upton

10 team 5x5 H2H League w/ 5 Keepers.

I have Santana and would like to make some sort of trade for either Mauer or J. Upton. Which of these players would you rather have the most. Mauer or J. Upton? Remember this is a keeper league.

it all depends on what you have to offer to get either player. If you can get one for less than you would have to offer the other then make that trade. Basically you have not giving a scienerio for me to rate.

All that being said with the position scarcity at C if you can get Mauer, do it. Problem is everyone knows just how great Mauer is and you will pay for him in a big way. Other other hand Justin is still a realitively unknown on just how great he IS going to become and maybe the owner of Justin will trade for less. He is a stud to be very soon. If you have a long term keeper league I think whoever has Justin after this yr is not going to part with him for many yrs. So go get him.

Upton does not matter what your roster is ...

I kinda like what sandwich said. Upton may get better, but Mauer is so much better than the rest of the league at C. Maybe you could keep Mauer and try to trade for Upton and someone else, if they undervalue Upton.

how long can u keep players for, what do u have to give up for them? upton is only 22. i love mauer but if you can keep a player for a unlimited time period or something like that then id have to say take the 10+ good years out of upton. the catcher position is a pretty demanding position and mauers already 4 years older then upton? idk really depends on how long you can keep a player. if its over the course of like the next 3 years or somethign id probably stick with mauer based on the fact you can get good value out of of in the later rounds of the draft

if anyone can offer some help in my thread itd be greatly appreciated
