A team's active roster consists of the following players:
6 outfielders
2 catchers
1 secondbaseman
1 shortstop
1 first baseman
1 third baseman
1 corner infielder (1b or 3b)
1 middle infielder (2b or ss)
1 Utility Player defined as a player who may play any non-pitching position
9 pitchers (who may be either starters, relievers or both).
A team's reserve roster consists of 8 players who may be either batters or pitchers.

Auction Draft Guidelines
Each team must acquire 24 players at a total cost not to exceed 275 dollars.
At each year's draft, all owners will fill their entire active roster.
Players eligible at more than one position may be shifted during the course of the draft.
No team may make a bid for a player that it cannot afford. No team may bid for a player who qualifies only at a position (or positions) that the team has already filled (ex: If you have one position left to fill on your team like 2B, you cannot bid on anything but a 2B). If you have bench spots open, you can bid on any position.
Reserve Draft Guidelines
A reserve draft will be held 30 minutes after the Auction Draft has concluded on the CBS Sportsline website. Each team will acquire 8 players at any position.
The following statistical categories will be used:
Batting Average
Home Runs
RBI's
Runs Scored
Stolen bases
Hits
ERA
WHIP
Wins
Saves
Strikeouts
Innings Pitched
KEEPERS
Each team will be able to keep 5 players for a max of 3 years at which time they will go back into the FA pool.
Each players value will increase as follows:
1st year - Price paid at Auction on free agent
2nd year - Player salary will increase by $3
3rd year - Player salary will increase by $5
