I don't know enough about the inner details of the trade to think that we could have gotten Mad Max without giving Granderson to the Yanks, but it sucks to have to lose him. Sure he couldn't hit lefties and didn't have as strong an arm as I would have liked, but he covered a ton of ground out there and was a stud citizen. He will be missed and I wish him the best of luck in New York.
