This seems designed for criminal activity and cheating spouses.
"I do not think baseball of today is any better than it was 30 years ago... I still think Radbourne is the greatest of the pitchers." John Sullivan 1914-Old athletes never change.
Catan released an update which lets you play to 14 points, listen to your music while playing, and keeps historical stats of you and all your cpu opponents
Carcasonne is pretty much the best game I've played on the iPhone. Like all AI's, it has patterns and is beatable, but the variability and strategy are pretty darn good between the 4 AI types.
Mog: Streaming albums kind of like Rhapsody, but with Mog you can download albums at 320 kbps. Very nice. 9.99 a month but well worth it. Unless you live and die by lossless music, there is no excuse to illegally download music anymore now that you can pay 10 dollars a month for 320kbps for almost anything you need.
Slacker: Awesome radio service that is even better if you pay for the premium version. It's still great without, but with premium you can skip as much as you want and customize your station to play just the tracks you want with no ads.
Qrank: Also available on Facebook, but a fun trivia game that has daily leaderboards for your friends, city, state, nation and worldwide.
Textfree: Saves us $10 dollars a month for a text plan. You do have to take a free text number which is different from your phone # so if you have a bunch of people sending texts it might not be worth the hassle. But, I only have a few people who send texts to me so it works for me.
MapQuest: Turn by turn voice navigation for free. It works really well, just as well as the $40 Tom Tom app. Actually, I prefer MapQuest when trying to find a location by business name.
2 Across: Really nice crossword puzzle app that downloads from various newspapers. I just download the Washington Post one every day. This one costs $5.99 but it's worth it.

Indeed, I have an Android phone. Android doesn't have the depth of apps compared to iPhone, but there are a few quality apps as well.
World Newspapers - Self explanatory, it's an aggregator of all news sources from around the world. Very nifty.
Twidroyd - An excellent Twitter app for Android and has better functionality than the Twitter app itself.
Alchemy - An addictive puzzle game where you combine elements into a new element. You're given four basic elements (fire, water, air, earth) and there are 300 combinations you can pull off starting with those four.
Angry Birds Lite Beta - Been waiting forever for Angry Birds to come out for Android. Problem is I have trouble loading the game on my HTC Incredible and I have to keep killing apps every few seconds or so that it loads properly. Otherwise, fantastic game and I'll be buying the full version when it's out.
