I'm addicted to apps. I've probably downloaded over 50. Post your favourites here:
3D Boost - incredible game for only a buck. Very addictive but you will eventually get tired of playing the first level every time.
Backbreaker football - the best sports game. Sports games for the iphone should be very simple and this one is but at the same time very cool with the spin moves and the juking and showboating
Baseball Stars 09 - was good for a while but way too easy
Texas Hold 'em - great graphics and controls
Zynga live poker - almost as good as the facebook app and it uses your facebook account as well
Are these the same apps I download for my Blackberry, or are the iPhone ones exclusive for it? I'll assume the former...
ScoreMobile - essential for anybody who gambles as much as I do Pandora - it is what you think it is Vlingo - speak-to-text for dialing, texting, etc. comes in very handy.
Mine is jailbroken so I have all of the Genesis, NES, and Gameboy roms but honestly, I played Tiger Woods PGA Tour the most. It's alot of fun on the iphone because it's wonky controls without a dpad don't matter, touchscreen is the better option. I ended up going through the entire PGA tour, winning every event, and generally get at least 15 under par each round when I'm not messing around.
Not supporting Woods financially is also a plus to consumers these days.

I've got ScoreMobile and Pandora on my blackberry already, I'll have to check out Vlingo. I generally will not pay a dime for any application.

There's both a free and pay version of Vlingo. I believe it may only work if you have the BBerry Tour (I either heard this from the guy when I bought my phone or just completely made it up).
I gave mine to my wife, but when I had it I liked the last.fm app a lot and if you have Rhapsody and an iphone that's really nice. Pretty much any album at your fingertips.
Is the Hipstamatic camera an app or does that come standard? Either way the photos it creates are pretty sweet. My buddy has been uploading photos he's taken with it to Facebook and some of them look really cool.
If any of you baseball fans/iPhone owners happen to be literate, an app called Classics is now available free. It has, well, 'the classics' around 20 or so. Everything from Sun Tzu to Homer (no, not the one who says D'oh!) to Stoker to Twain, from Dickens to Doyle.
