Something I should say since I've been bashing the healthcare industry, is that despite the fact I had/have no health insurance and all parties involved knew it upfront, I did receive top-notch service. Everyone was friendly (except one nurse), they used the 3 prong method instead of one big cut (so no scar), I had a private room, they did good work, etc. So in that respect, I commend the industry.

It's also why when someone says they don't have access to quality healthcare, I dismiss those claims. Either they are complaining about not being able to see a specialist for their every "ouchie", or they simply don't understand the difference in "want" and "need".
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

I agree with what you are saying Madison but until people stop voting for politicians who aren't bought out by the health care system a major reform is not going to happen. It would be easily the best option but there's good reason neither the Democrats or Republicans are bringing that bill forward. One side wants to overhaul the system to mandate it and make it taxpayer based the otherside wants the public to stop suing doctors. Neither side is for regulation because they have too much invested in the current system so we get these fixes that help the few instead of changes that would help everyone. It's an easy fix, stop voting for parties that are bought out by so many people that they no longer can govern for the people. Like I said, Obama was the last straw for me.
