calm down. i just found it incomprehensible that someone playing fantasy BB in the states had not heard of edgar. i'm fairly sure that if you are not from toronto or montreal (puerto rico?

) and you are a baseball follower, you are in the minority. my cousin from vancouver doesn't know much about baseball but could tell me tons (tonnes) about the nhl

I'm trying to decide if I should keep Edgar for $13 in my auction league (it counts oba). I have no idea. I could keep Thomas at $18 or Delgado at $30 instead. What can Edgar do this year.
P.S. I'm from Canada and I love Edgar Martinez

i think that's a different poster.
i love edgar (see the avatar) but he can definitely be taken in the last round these days, with his risk of injuries. if he stays healthy, he'll put up dependable utility stats (and a horde of stolen bases to boot

)

I am from Vancouver and am an avid baseball fan. My first love is hockey but it is followed closely by baseball. I did first fall in love w/baseball when the Jays were dominating in the early '90s but have followed ever since. I try to make it down to a few Mariners games every season. Unfortunately that is the best I can do living in Vancouver. Praise the lord for satelite TV.

At those prices, keep Delgado. The risk of Edgar finally losing his eye of suffering another injury plagued season, in my opinion, make him worth a lot less than $18.
