someone wants me to give them Corey Patterson for him. never heard of the guy until the offer was made to me.

I would definately not trade Corey Patterson for him, but if you are trading edgar to get patterson, I would definatelyu do that deal. Corey is way better than edgar

How can it be that you've never have heard of Edgar Martinez??? :-?

Depending on your team, I'd actually most likely make that deal.

Unless it is a keeper of course, but I think Edgar gives you better stats this year than C-Pat. But I'd need to see your team, before I say this for sure.

Martinez wasn't even a player on my cheat sheet to choose from during drafts. Patterson seems to have ok stats including steals. I'll see how he does starting out.

Patterson tore his ACL last season so he is coming back from injury. He isn't going to run like he did last year.

Yikes here, too lazy to log in...

Dude, Edgar is awesome. He's got a cult following in Seattle. I'd draft him 18-20th these days since he won't play interleague games in NL parks and is an injury risk now.
